About Us
We are Nikki and Andrew Kristy and are proud to say we're also an award-winning husband and wife duo.
Nikki performs with orchestras, features on film soundtracks, television and teaches cello privately in Worcestershire. In addition she is also booking secretary for our local village hall and a local swimming club. And since the first lockdowns, has also been joint lead at the Droitwich Food Bank.
I'm Andrew , and I'm lucky enough to be Birmingham Royal Ballet's goto freelance pianist, having toured with them to China and Hong Kong. I'm also a professional composer, having written music for 2 feature films (the latest - Fairytale, to be released in 2022), the 2012 Olympics, Firework concerts, BBC radio, Ballets, and appeared with Nigel Kennedy and Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan on Channel 4 and BBC 1. I regularly perform at a high level, recently being organist for a performance of Fauré's Requiem in Worcester Cathedral and composing the Opening and Finale for Birmingham Royal Ballet's 25 year DanceTrack Celebrations at the Repertory Theatre, Birmingham. If I wasn't busy enough I'm also Director of Turning Circle Pictures LLC (a film production company based in Texas), and Founding Director of Evolved Foods Ltd - a healthy snack and toppings company founded and run by our son Dominic.
We formed Finesse Piano & Cello while engaged to be married because we love playing music together and wanted to share our enjoyment with others.
We keep up to date with current musical trends and keep ourselves relevant by making special arrangements of many current tracks from popular music and films which we then perform at weddings and events. Our love of music and playing together for events has never diminished. We enjoy making a difference!
During our 30+ years of marriage, we have also found time to raise 3 wonderful young people and renovate a 300 year old cottage which is our family home.
