Frequently
Asked Questions
How
far ahead do we need to book?
We
do have some bookings 2 years ahead, so please book as early
as you can to avoid disappointment.
We will, once you have checked our availability, hold a date
for a short time for you to make a decision.
We are uncertain of what music
we can have for our Civil Ceremony. Can you help?
We will give as much help
as you need. We know many registrars and their idiosyncracies
and can therefore recommend appropriate pieces or verify your
choices. The most popular classical pieces are high-lighted in
our repertoire list under General Information. The choice of
style though is really yours. We offer a consultation if necessary.
More 'alternative' pieces
we have been asked to play in the past
Groom - Pink Panther,
James Bond,
Brides Entrance - From this moment on (Shania Twain); Titanic
Theme (Celine Dion); It had to be you (Frank Sinatra); Bittersweet
Symphony
If we want a piece that is not
on your list?
We are constantly arranging
music for couples who want something a bit different. We can
arrange most music.
Do you use other musicians?
Almost never. In over
2000 functions we have only used deputies around the birth of
our children !
We are interested. What do we
do now?
Firstly, check our availability.
Saturdays are particularly popular but Civil Ceremonies are now
spreading throughout the week. Ring us and we will send you a
contract. Sign and return it with a £50 deposit to secure
the booking. We send you a signed copy for your records.
Do you charge expenses?
We don't charge travelling
expenses within the West Midlands. However, we are happy to travel
anywhere in the UK and have played as far North as Edinburgh
and as South as Lands End in Cornwall. We supply a top quality
digital piano and all equipment necessary.
Where can we see you perform?
As almost all of our functions
are private the only opportunities are when we perform at a small
number of Wedding Fairs in the West Midlands. Please telephone
for details.
